Kier asked KGK to create a brochure for their Degree Programme, aimed at attracting young people into a career within their construction division. The programme offers great opportunities and the incentive to earn and learn whilst studying for a relevant degree. The challenge for us was to make the brochure appeal to the younger target audience. The brochure also had to sit firmly within the company’s brand guidelines.
Our approach was to use icons and cutout imagery to instil a fresher feel to the design, and introduced an arrow device to suggest moving forwards and energy. The design was deemed a success in attracting more applicants onto the programme and the style has also been carried across to press advertising and event graphics.
